Front-End Development

Where developers are built, not born

Sparknewlife is a structured online school for front-end development. Lessons run at your pace, across 4 core tracks — from HTML basics through to production-ready React applications.

I had zero coding background. I spent 6 months in the HTML and CSS track before touching JavaScript. Nobody rushed me. The pace is genuinely yours to set — and that made the difference.

No prior experience is assumed in tracks 1 or 2. Track 3 requires comfort with basic JavaScript. Every lesson lists what you need before starting — so there are no hidden prerequisites.

A specific kind of student fits well here

The curriculum suits people who prefer working through problems independently, with structured support rather than live instruction.

Self-directed learners

You prefer setting your own schedule and working through material at your own pace, without waiting for a cohort or live session.

Career changers, 25–45

Most enrolled students are mid-career. They have 1–2 hours per day to study and need a curriculum that fits around existing commitments.

Designers moving into code

If you already work in Figma or similar tools and want to build what you design, the CSS and layout tracks cover exactly that gap.

Who this does not suit

Students who need live accountability, daily check-ins, or a fixed group schedule typically find the async format difficult to sustain. The platform is built for independence, not for people who need external structure to stay on track.

What the knowledge is actually worth, 12 months after finishing

01
A portfolio that shows real decisions

Each track ends with a project you own. Not a template — a working application built from your own choices, reviewable by any hiring team.

02
Skills that transfer across tools

The curriculum focuses on browser fundamentals, not specific libraries. When frameworks change, your understanding of layout, state, and events does not.

03
Access to the material after completion

Lifetime access means you can return to any lesson when a new project requires it. No subscription cliff after a fixed period.

04
A documented learning record

Completion certificates are issued per track, formatted for LinkedIn and verifiable by employers directly through Sparknewlife.

Students who complete all 4 tracks have, on average, 9 deployable projects by the end. These are not exercises — they are functional applications built against real briefs.
